Scholarship information
The Ed Owings/ South Harriman Baptist Church Seminary Scholarship Fund was started in 2017 in honor of a beloved South Harriman Baptist Church member, Mr. Ed Owings. The scholarship is intended to assist someone attending an SBC seminary. The Missions Committee of South Harriman has been charged with the selection process for the scholarship. If selected, the scholarship money will be sent directly to the seminary the chosen applicant will attend. The scholarship is for $1000.00 and is intended for one academic year. The recipient will need to re-apply and be selected for any additional years.
REQUIREMENTS:
The applicant must be attending one of the 6 Southern Baptist Seminaries. (Southern, Southwestern, New Orleans, Gateway, Southeastern, or Midwestern)
The applicant must be considered a full-time student (on campus or online)
The applicant must complete the Application For Scholarship form online or submitted by mail
